We have finished the exterior to this house extension in Overton. As you can see from the new roof that we have extended the first floor to cover the whole of the left hand side of the building. New steel joists were put in place to add the strength needed for the build. Careful attention was made to match the closest possible match with the existing bricks. It is only the new roof tiles that give away this new built. However, these will weather over time to match the roof tiles on the existing build. Inside will be a new bedroom and en-suite. Wall insulation is now in. We will quickly move to finish the interior.
We have also added a new chimney breast to the external wall of the house extension. Previously, the lounge, below the extension, had no open fire. With the new chimney breast added, they will soon be installing a brand new wood burning stove. Keeping the lounge cosy on those long winter nights!
